About Us
About the Company
We have owned Washington Park Florist, formerly Prattville Florist, since 1985. We have evolved into a specialty floral studio with experience in all aspects of the floral industry though we currently focus on bringing comfort to families grieving the loss of a loved one, through the healing design of customized floral tributes. In a sometimes too modern world, we focus on the old fashioned practice of dealing one on one with each customer & order. Valerie, our owner, is an accredited spiritual healer with GBCS and she brings that energy to each flower she handles.

Additional Information:
We operate more like a floral studio, so we are not always in the shop. The hours listed above are more of a guideline. We are often out on the road with deliveries or setting up funeral work. It is always best to call ahead if you are planning on coming in to the shop. We are available on Saturdays by pre-order or appointment only. We will do our best to fill same day orders but it is not always possible. Please order at least one day in advance to allow us time to fill your order.

Substitution Policy
Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
